I am a visual artist living and working in Richmond, Virginia.  My primary work has been in drawing and painting, but more recently I began working with mixed media in both two and three dimensions.  This work issues from a delight in materials -paint, graphite, paper, fiber, fabric, wood, metal, glass, sticks, rocks…- and a curiosity about what happens when they are combined.  I show my work locally and regionally and have pieces in private, public, and corporate collections.

Hi Sarah, I got to your website via Mimi Weaver. I love your work and am intrigued with your expansion of medium and style.
Then to see the creativity of Charles was another thrill! I love his photographs too.
Maybe we could get together in 2010. There is much to catch up on. Pam

    Hi Sarah,

This is a great site! I like seeing your work and also reading your blogs. I really like the bird nests… also the way you capture the light in your landscapes. Very nice. Thanks for taking the time to talk with me today about the “art world”!

    Hi Sarah,

It’s so good to find your site, and to see your beautiful work… the nests I love, and the lovely newer pieces. I don’t know if you remember me from VCCA… I have missed you, and feel sorry that we lost touch (and think it was my fault!). But I’d love to be connected again; I think of you often and hope you’re doing well.

    Take good care!

    Kasey
