New Assemblage

Homage To Lenore Tawney

Here is a new assemblage, Homage to Lenore Tawney. It’s made from a wooden cigar box and measures   5″ x 5″ x 7″ high without the base.  Lenore Tawney was an artist (she passed away 2 years ago at age 100) who began her  work as a weaver and went on to do large installations, collages, and assemblages.  Her work shows a reverence for materials and expresses a gentle presence that has inspired me over the years.
